Maryland Confederate Women.

Fitzhugh Lee Chapter, T. D. C., of this city has been asked to take an interest in a tea and sale to be held in Baltimore next month, for the fund to the monument to Maryland Wo-non of the Confederacy. The Confederate Veterans started the effort to pay this tribute, and the U. D. C. chapters in the state are asked to co-operate. This monument will be placed in Baltimore. The Veterans think that while the men did the fighting, the women deserve equal raise for the part they took in caring for the sick and wounded during he war of 1861-1865.
