TO SHOW CONFEDERATE RELICS
Women To Have Sale March 18 For Maryland Monument Fund.
One of the most interesting features of the tea and sale to be held March 18 at the House Electric, 325 North Charles street, for the benefit of the monument to the Maryland women of the Confederacy, to be erected by the Maryland Confederate Veterans, will be the large showcase of Confederate relics.
Among those lending from their valuable collections are Mrs. D. Giraud Wright, Mrs. John P. Poe, Mrs. Thomas Baxter Gresham and Mrs. David B. McIntosh. Mrs. Charles Parr has loaned a pair of gold sleeve buttons which were presented to her father by President Jefferson Davis.
