TO RECEIVE FLOWERS

Ladies Will Be At The Confederate Monument Saturday.

The committee of arrangements for the unveiling of the Confederate monument, which will take place at 3 o’clock on Saturday afternoon, has secured the aid of a number of young ladies, who will be on duty at the platform erected adjoining the monument at 1 o’clock on Saturday, to receive offerings of flowers to be placed at the base of the monument during the ceremony.

The Baltimore Daughters of the Confederacy, the board of lady managers of the Confederate Home at Pikesville and the out-of-town chapters of the Daughters have signified their intention of sending flowers for this purpose, and the committee in charge will be glad to receive lowers from any other organizations or from private individuals who wish to contribute.
