Monument Design Accepted.

The Maryland Confederate Woman’s Monument Association, which is commissioned to erect a monument to commemorate the services of the women of Maryland to the Confederacy, yesterday accepted the design submitted by J. Maxwell Miller for the monument. The commission is composed of Andrew C. Trippe, James R. Wheeler, R. Curzon Hoffman, Bartlett S. Johnston and Thomas B. Gresham. The last Legislature made an appropriation of $12,000 for the monument.
