THE annual celebration of the Baltimore Chapter. Daughters of the Confederacy, will be held at Hazazer’s Hall on Saturday, January 20, at 3 P.M. It will commemorate the birthdays of Lee and Jackson, which fall on January 19 and 21, respectively.

Major Randolph Barton will deliver a memorial address on the late Col. David G. McIntosh, and Miss Jane Cary will read a paper on war-time days by Mr. Randolph Preston, of Lexington, Ky. The Rev. Dr. Wm. M. Dame will give some personal recollections of Stonewall Jackson, and a feature of the occasion will be stereopticon views of the new monument to the women of the South, which has been designed by J. Maxwell Miller and will be erected on University Parkway.

A quartet from the Peabody Conservatory will sing and the audience will join in the songs of the old South. Mrs. John P. Poe is president of the Baltimore Chapter d Mrs. Rufus K. Goodenow is vice-president. The chapter has about 500 members, and does much charity work in assisting needy women of the South.
